Politicians are portrayed as animals in the Westminster zoo in this blockbuster campaign for The Times and The Sunday Times.
Created by News UK’s in-house agency, Pulse Creative (run by WPP and The & Partnership) and directed by Will Bartlett via Framestore, the 40-second spot highlights the "constant braying and territorial divisions" currently in parliament surrounding Brexit negotiations, and reinforces the newspapers’ commitment to "keeping readers well-informed" amid the noise.
Ostriches, parrots, hyenas, snakes and chameleons are seen chuntering across the chamber at each other, before The Times' mascots - a lion and a unicorn - turn up to create order. There's great fun to be had in trying to work out the beastly counterparts of real-life politicians.
Scenes from the ad were projected across the Houses of Parliament last Thursday, and it will be supported with print, out-of-home and social media activity.
