Filmmaker, music producer and artist Derek Schklar has signed to Somesuch for worldwide representation.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Schklar began his career as a teenager, photographing local musicians within the local rap scene. He spent the following ten years in production, artist development and management, before moving into creating visuals and music videos.
Most recently, Schklar collaborated with rapper Trouble to create Edgewood, an album, short film, and music video series, which marks his debut as a narrative filmmaker and writer.
