Currys PC World has launched its Christmas 2018 campaign, with the new spot highlighting how amazing technology can be used to help customers unlock the magic of Christmas.

The commerical, created by AMV BBDO and directed by Andreas Nilsson through Biscuit London, places us in a Victorian setting but infuses the story with 21st century technology to demonstrate modern-day tech's potential to upgrade Christmas, from carol singers using Microsoft Surface Pro tablets in place of hymn books, and a woman using Google Home Hub to play Christmas tunes to her house guest. 

The campaign will feature 40-, 30- and 20-second hero TV executions, airing from today [November 1] until Sunday November 18.
