Very: Elsie's Gift

Online retailer Very has once again tasked St Luke's and Swedish directing collective Against All Odds, from Passion Animation, to craft its Christmas offering. Continuing on from last year's Very campaign this touching spot also emphasises the joy of giving gifts rather than receiving. 

In this film, Elsie, a little girl obsessed with space rockets, is given a selection of perfect pressies by her folks, such as astronaut helmets and books on astronomy, which help her reach her potential and, ultimately, reach for the stars as an astronaut. The 30-second spot ends with the tagline, "find the gift that helps them find their gift".

Breaking on 1 November, it will appear in The X-Factor on Saturday 3 November and will run as part of a multi-media campaign for two months.
