VOW: Vow to End Child Marriage

Every three seconds a girl under the age of 18 is married, meaning they're robbed of their future, put at risk of violence and ill health, and trapped in poverty.

To highlight the scale of the problem, VOW, a new initiative against child marriage, has teamed up with social impact consultancy Hive and Strange Beast on this hard-hitting animation.

Created by a collaboration of Strange Beast talent and new directors overseen by Strange Beast's creative director Andy Martin, the short film uses a mix of different animation styles to tell a story about girlhood – and how sad it is to be deprived of it.
