To mark International Day of the Girl, anti-poverty group The ONE Campaign have teamed up with Don’t Panic on a thought-provoking ad that reveals how millions of girls are denied the future of their choice because poverty is sexist.

In the film, helmed by Joanna Bailey via Snapper Films, a series of young girls are asked the age-old question: “What are you going to be when you grow up”? The answers begin as expected, but quickly turn to reflect the harsh reality for girls in the world’s poorest countries - that they're unlikely to go to school, they'll get married young, and, shockingly, may suffer domestic abuse at the hands of their husbands.
