You'll definitely want to set aside seven minutes for the visual and sonic feast that is Shahmaran, an ambitious music video/art project between Ghanaian director Emmanuel Adjei and Dutch-Iranian artist Sevdaliza.

Three years in the making, the film, which was commissioned by WeTransfer, explores themes of love, power and racial oppression on a biblical scale. The cinematography is sublime, and some of the shots - such as the tethered men hauling a gigantic, gleaming spaceship-like contraption across a cracked desert floor - will take your breath away.

The film is running on WeTransfer's dedicated platform, following a screening by Red Bull to an selected group of European creatives (under the banner Red Bull Frontiers) in Matera, Italy.
