This frenetic, brilliantly funny spot, directed by Mark Zibert (repped by Rogue) and produced by Scouts Honour, is a delicious antidote to what shots previously mentioned can be adland’s somewhat rose-tinted version of family life.
The film whizzes through a range of parenting scenarios; opening with a gooey, post-natal mum gazing at her precious newborn, it soon descends into a wacky whirlwind tour of the trials, tribulations, sleep loss and mounting expense of child rearing. The editing is breathtaking and a superb script describes the early childrearing years as “mostly about poo” and “50 different types of crying.” It's a nutty but glorious journey – just like parenting.
