London-based creatve agency La Familia has created and produced a vintage film with a modern twist for Reebok re-issues.
Celebrating the re-release of the favourite 90s running shoe Aztrek OG and the 1986 Rapide, the brand film Take a Different Path, along with a shorter iteration for the Aztrek launch, serves up a lively cocktail of sounds and images from 90s subcultures, brought bang up-to-date with a cast of London influencers. Directed by Pablo Rivera and Santiago Arbelaez, the films' message of pioneering spirit is enhanced by the musings of South London spoken word artist and musician James Massiah.
Influencers include Anaïs Gallagher, model and daughter of Noel; Andres Branco, founder of streetwear fashion label Wavey Garms; dancer and model Kater Flex; south London DJ Oneman; and Ryan Hawaii, artist and member of maverick collective Neverland Clan, who dub themselves ‘The World’s Gnarliest Boyband’.
