LA-based studio JAMM has brought some impressive CG design to a series of 12 spots for the Volkswagen Jetta created by Deutsch and produced by ManvsMachine.  

The music-centric campaign highlights updated features of the Jetta, such as ambient lighting and Beats Audio. The series comprises a total of 12 spots along with 15-second teasers, all of which aired on various broadcast, digital and social channels during the World Cup. For Remix, JAMM brought both a 1985 and a 2019 Jetta to life, along with a hybrid mix of the two, adding a funky layer of turntable-themed VFX.

 

With the Puzzle spot (above), the team cut up the car procedurally in Houdini, which allowed the animators to change around the slices as needed.
