SKUNK have signed award-winning filmmaker Amanda Blue to their roster for UK and transatlantic representation.

Born and raised in Sydney, Blue moved to London to complete a Masters’ degree in Film and honed her craft working for Oscar-nominated feature film director, Mike Figgis.

An award-winning documentary filmmaker, Blue has been writing and directing documentaries and drama for the past 15 years and has a Best Director BAFTA nomination and a Banff award for Best Unscripted Series to her name. In 2016, she wrote and directed the critically-acclaimed drama documentary Deep Water for Screen Australia.

Blue turned her hand to commercials in 2013, going on to garner awards at Cannes, Kinsale, LIA awards and the New York Festival.

“Amanda is just brilliant in every way," says Skunk London's MD, Kate Taylor. "Her documentary work is fascinating and compelling and her commercial work reflects her considerable experience in that field. That said, I am convinced that her already strong reel has the potential to evolve further.  She’s a whirlwind of energy, empathy and passion and I just love having her around. We are already working on two projects together, and I’m confident that there’ll be plenty more to come.”
