Liberty Global: A Report Of Connected Events

This ambitious branded film for America's largest cable company blurs the lines between reality and fiction by exploring iconic moments in film and TV.

Written and directed by Mischa Rozema and produced by PostPanic Amsterdam, the film, about the power of storytelling, is set in Paris but packs in a treasure trove of filmic references ranging from US blockbuster movies to Asian TV series - with more emerging on every viewing (look out for Eleven's (Stranger Things) Eggos and Castaway's Wilson).

"This is a film all about references, most of them being my personal favourites," explains Rozema, "however, they also had to be visually interesting, fitting the main narrative, and we needed a good variation in genres. In this way, it almost becomes a fun game. We’ve made some references really obvious and others quite hard to find. I think only few people will get them all!
