Venice-based production company, Slim Pictures, has just signed Bram Coppens to its roster for commercials and branded content representation in the US.

Belgian native Coppens, who has lived in Los Angeles since 2011, made his mark with Adidas campaigns such as the gold and bronze Clio-winning Brazuca, which introduced the new ball for the FIFA World Cup, and Golf Anthem. He has also directed a Super Bowl campaign for Jeep (featuring the spot Love Story) and commercials for Range Rover and Dockers. Coppens is a graduate of the Brussels Film Academy and continued his studies at the New York Film Academy and the Academy of Fine Arts in Utrecht in the Netherlands.

“Bram and I have known each other for a while, so it is a truly incredible opportunity to work together at this point in time," says owner/EP Tom Weissferdt. "I have always admired his powerful visual style with cars and sports and I’m sure he will venture into more dialogue-based work in the future.”

"I'm very excited to join the roster at Slim," adds Coppens. "I think their work is very strong and speaks for itself. I like their ethos of keeping the roster small in order to keep a thorough focus on each director. I have known Tom for a long time, so I’m elated that it’s finally time for us to collaborate. I’m positive that we are going to create beautiful work together."
