London animation studio Animade are behind this cautionary but charming fable about a father, his child and what we prioritise as precious.

Created for file-sharing service WeTransfer's content channel, WePresent, and premiering at OFFF Barcelona, the eight-minute animation tells the story of a giant bearded man and his daughter, who live a peaceful hunter-gatherer existence in the forest, until one day their familiar routine begins to fall apart. As he struggles to keep the fire burning, the father loses sight of what’s truly important – and spirals into an obsession with the flames.
