Packed with references to gun crime, police brutality and racism in the USA, the video, helmed by Japanese-American director Hiro Murai has racked up close to 50 million YouTube views, and it's not hard to see why. Shot in a huge warehouse, it sees a topless Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) dancing and gurning through scenes of extreme violence - executing a hooded captive and gunning down a gospel choir - with a chilling nonchalance.
