Imagine if the city's streets could be transformed into one great big swimming pool? Well it seems that this idea is far from fantasical as a new stunt from Engine for E.ON has turned Barcelona's 1992 Olympic swimming pool into a functioning city.

As if that wasn't impress enough, the campaign shows off E.ON's committment to providing more sustainable energy solutions by heating the pool's 2.5 million litres of water using air source heat pump technology; which extracts air from the outside and transforms it into renewable heat energy, making it suitable for the inside. Outsider's Scott Lyon helmed the piece.

Watch the behind the scenes video below for a more detailed explanation on how the stunt took place:

E.ON are known for pushing boundaries, something Engine's MD Simon Peck admires greatly: “It is such a privilege to work with a brand and marketing team so committed to changing the rules of the market."
