From infecting the dinosaurs to playing a part in the fall of the Roman Empire, malaria has a fascinating and deadly history, which a new Aardman animation seeks to bring to life.

Part of the global Malaria Must Die campaign, which calls on Commonwealth leaders to take political action against the disease, the charity film introduces the character of Mozzie the Mosquito, who takes viewers on a journey through malaria's murderous past with a bit of help from actor Hugh Laurie.
