Amsterdam-based production company HALAL has welcomed directors Steffen Haars and Caroline Koning to its roster for international representation.
Haars brings over a decade’s worth of film experience and has developed his comedic work to now push the boundaries of humour. He entered the scene following his New Kids series created with Flip van der Kuil in the 00’s, later evolving into two feature films. Since then Haars has crafted commercial work for the following brand: Domino’s Pizza, Heineken, Lays, National Geographic, MTV and Coca Cola.
Koning first attracted HALAL to her after her graduation film was released. She’s since delved into the world of fashion film with Bo, featured on Nowness and Vimeo Pick, leading to numerous high-profile jobs for the likes of Loewe and Scotch & Soda
