Burberry Celebrates LGBT Love with Rainbow Check
Unveiled at London Fashion Week this Saturday, Christopher Bailey's last collection for the fashion house championed diversity.
Burberry has unveiled its autumn/winter 2018 collection with a fresh and modern campaign celebrating love in the LGBT+ community, and a message of inclusiveness that literally runs through the fabric of its garments.
Entitled Wrapped in Love, the project is one hell of a swansong for long-term creative director Christopher Bailey, who is stepping down after 17 years at the British fashion label.
Created together with them, a community platform that covers a range of topics through the lens of today’s LGBT+ community, and shot by photographer/filmmaker Alastair McLellan, who co-curated Burberry's Here We Are exhibition last year, the video and stills campaign features frank footage of young LGBT+ couples kissing and discussing what it means to be in love, while modelling pieces from the new season line.
