Christmas can be pretty lonely, and anyone who has lost a friend, split up with a partner, or who has parents that live apart knows that what is the most wonderful time of the year for most people isn't always the case for them.

So, when JWT Amsterdam was asked by PLUS Supermarket to come up with an idea for their first real Christmas campaign, they decided to tell the story of a co-parenting family to capture some of the more bittersweet feelings that Christmas can evoke. The two-minute spot was directed by Ismael & Basha through Pink Rabbit Amsterdam.
