Mill+ New York has teamed up with director Rob Roth to produce a fierce, fun and female driven ode to the punk era for Blondie and Joan Jett’s latest music video, Doom or Destiny.

With a DIY, lo-fi aesthetic, the video aims to empower females in all their forms and pay homage to the punk rock spirit forged by these two living music legends. Inspired by the current political landscape and social turmoil across the globe, the film sees these two female rock icons join together in camaraderie to take over a news broadcast.

A long-time creative collaborator with Debbie Harry, Roth first started working with Blondie on their No Exit album in 1999, and has worked on various album covers, photography, design, live stage design and direction with them since.
