When supplies start running low on an international space mission, Houston has a problem - so it's down to Aldi Süd to provide the solution.

This latest cinema spot for the budget supermarket chain, created by Hamburg agency Oliver Voss and directed by Bart Timmer through CZAR, is a comic nod to classic Hollywood sci-fi and space movies with its tale of a group of astronauts who find themselves on short rations while orbiting the earth. Dreaming of pasta and unimpressed by Ground Control's suggestion to contact the nearby Russian mission for borscht, the spacemen finally get the feast of their dreams when Aldi sends up a floating supermarket.
