UK supermarket Tesco has launched its 2017 Christmas campaign, and the first of its five TV spots is a tribute to the humble turkey.
Created by BBH London and directed by Smuggler’s Guy Shelmerdine, the campaign celebrates the different ways that millions of UK shoppers enjoy Christmas, with a wry, honest and gently amusing look at the rituals around the centrepiece of the festive meal. Whether you barbecue it, baste it or enjoy the leftovers in a sandwich, turkey is one of those sacred traditions that everyone can get behind. Just don't forget to take the giblets out.
As part of the campaign, Tesco will donate £1 for every fresh turkey bought in-store or online, shared between its food charity partners FareShare and The Trussell Trust to help people in need over the festive period.
