It may be hard to believe that anyone can get by without a smartphone in this day and age, yet Ogilvy proves that technology can act as more than just an enabler of communication. It can help you to find love, suggests their Christmas campaign for Vodafone.

Martin Freeman stars as the bumbling British guy, who accidentally finds himself on the hunt for love after a chance encounter at a train station - channelling his character from the Christmas classic, Love Actually.

Helmed by Biscuit's comedic director Jeff Low, the campaign is split into six episodes to show the different emotions he experiences in the falling-in-love process while also demonstrating the benefits of Vodafone's new Pay As You Go tarriff. 

Awkward love, it seems, is the perfect antidote to get you in the mood for celebrating Christmas.
