Partizan show us the punishing but inspiring workout routine of Mark Smith, Britain's Strongest Disabled Man.
After getting six bullets to the leg (and one to the shoulder) in a training exercise, former soldier Mark Smith had to rebuild his life. After being told he would be unable to walk even with a prosthetic, he now can not only walk on it but can also perform feats of near-superhuman strength while wearing it; feats that have seen him named Britain's Strongest Disabled Man, and see him competing for the title of the World's Strongest Man this weekend (September 3).
In this short doc directed by Partizan's Matthias Hoene, we see Smith training for this contest while he, in voiceover, takes us through how he lost the leg and how he went from dying (twice!) to competing to be a world champion.
