If the current political climate is good for anyone (apart from rich, white people), then its newspapers, many of whom are seeing a huge upswing in readers as people rely on them to keep up with and make sense of the madness.
In light of this climate, The Telegraph and adam&eveDDB take a leaf out of The New York Times' recent campaign playbook. In a new ad, directed by Why Not Associates, they imagine the less good drafts of some famous phrases. For example, would Martin Luther King had had the same impact if he has stood in front of the Lincoln Memorial and said "I have a thought",? Would Trump have had the same success if he attacked "inaccurate news"? Probably not.
