Prolific promo directors LAMAR+NIK have returned with this brilliantly-crafted new video for American indie rock band, The Shins.

To create the unique aesthetics of the video, the directors shot the band against a white background, edited the shots, then printed out the still frames. From there, they converted the 4,868 hand cut frames into 5,566 stickers, and animated them through stop-motion by sticking them down on top of each other at each of the 40+ locations.

The video took over two months to complete.
