The metaphor of Australia's tax system-as-marble run is excellently effective in the ad, which was directed by Jonathan (Drop Bear) Chong of Photoplay. At the beginning, marbles roll out of Australia and into what we presume are marble tax havens. However, parts begin to move, keeping all the marbles in Australia, rolling into the economy of Oz.
