Mallal goes Independent

London-based production company Independent Films welcomes director Samir Mallal to its roster of talent for exclusive representation in the UK and Amsterdam. Mallal first found prominence with his film Artic Sun for Tropicana, which earned him a spot on the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase at Cannes Lions, and won him the 2010 Best Young Director award as well as a Gold Lion. Since then, he has gone on to direct commercials for the likes of Google, GE, Starbucks and Coca-Cola.
