David&Goliath launches creative technology department
Former Meta Executive Antonio Marcato joins D&G to advance AI-driven creativity and innovation.
David&Goliath (D&G) announced the launch of a new Creative Technology department, further strengthening the agency’s commitment to blending human creativity with emerging technologies to drive modern brand storytelling. D&G has added longtime industry leader Antonio Marcato to lead the division as Managing Director, Creative Technology.
Marcato brings more than two decades of experience operating at the intersection of creativity, technology, and innovation. An award-winning creative leader, he has built a career developing breakthrough campaigns and immersive experiences powered by Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality for global brands and platforms.
In his new role, Marcato will lead D&G’s creative technology efforts, partnering across disciplines to integrate AI, machine learning, AR, VR, and other advanced tools into the agency’s work, from insight development to production and storytelling. Marcato will be based in D&G’s Los Angeles office and report directly to Founder and Creative Chairman David Angelo.

Marcato’s appointment underscores D&G’s continued investment in innovation, building on the agency’s proprietary tools and evolving capabilities that merge data, creativity, and technology to solve modern marketing challenges.
Prior to joining D&G, Marcato served as Creative Director at Meta, where he led innovation efforts across automotive and entertainment clients, helping bridge platform capabilities with future-facing creative expression. He is also a founding member of AI startup bitHuman, where he helped shape the design, voice, and experience of AI-powered agents for digital and retail environments.
Previously, Marcato also held roles at leading agencies including CP+B, GS&P, and RPA, during which he collaborated with brands such as Toyota, Cheetos, Target, and Volcom. His work spans interactive campaigns, spatial experiences, and AI-driven content, earning recognition from Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, and The Clios.
