Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi and Argentinian beer brand Andes have turned beer pouring on its head with their latest stunt.

...well, not quite on its head, but at least 45° to create Bar 45, the world's first tilted bar.

As every good barman knows, 45 degrees is the perfect angle to get just the right amount of head on a beer. For the Bar 45 campaign, which includes an ad produced by Primo as well as the building of a real bar, this idea is taken to its illogical conclusion with a building set at that exact angle in the Andes themselves, enabling a perfect pour every time.

In the commercial-cum-case-study illustrating life inside the bar, they show some of the problems faced within the bar, with bills sliding down to the wrong person and darts going in unexpeced directions. A voiceover asks if all this is worth it for the perfect Andes, before deciding that yes it is. We'll drink to that.

Saatchi & Saatchi ECDs Matías Lafalla and Ramiro Rodríguez Gamallo said of the bar, created by Sake Argentina, "finally, this architectural challenge at the service of beer came true in The Penitentes Hill, Mendoza, where everyone could drink an Andes with the right beer head in the first and unique leaned bar of the world.”
