Crustaceans increase their credit ratings in a new commercial in stop-motion by Rock Hound and Mummu.

In Rockpool, directed by Amy Becker-Burnett, a crestfallen crab receives another rejection message-in-a-bottle from his bank - perhaps the creditless crustacean did not have enough capital or collateral. Alliteration is fun.

Luckily, a schoal of shells (OK, I'll stop) save the stop-motion shellfish (...after those ones) with an Aqua credit card, which will help him get his treasures back.

In creating the animation for this ad, Mummu deliberately choose to take a retro approach, using traditional stop frame animation and drawing inspiration from '70s kids TV to give what the director calls a 'playful and humble aesthetic' to the undersea world of the advert.
