101 Agency have created an amazing spot for Dole showing the evolution of the world that, amazingly, was done mostly in camera.

Directed by Blinkink's Noah HarrisThe Process sees a mixture of in-camera effects and model-making processes come together to tell the story of the evolution of the world from bare rock to plant life to fruit and finlly to the pinnacle of human achievement, the smoothie.

The ad took Harris and his team days to shoot, with four weeks of work in post following that for finishing touches, including the addition of a voiceover by reknowned poet John Giorno.

Blinkink have also released a making-of video which shows some of the models for the shoot being created, including a large sphere that shoots vapour, as well as some of the unique challenges of the shoot, including the filming of a single raspberry in close-up.

Director Noah Harris said of the spot, "these very creative projects are the ones I love...working out new techniques and then fitting them together to create something new. It’s like a playground really.”
