Lucky Generals explore what it means to be 100% Irish Cider in their new ad for C&C's Bulmers Irish Cider, launching on St Patrick's Day.
Directed by Neil Gorringe of Moxie Pictures, the emphasis is far more on the '100%' than the 'Irish'. Whereas the similarly named 200% Irish launched by KFC this week doubled down on stereotypes faster than you could shake a shamrock at, this ad eschews this for regular Dublinite millenials at a house party, with on-screen statistics giving us an insight into their lives.
The DJ has 8% clue what any of the knobs on the decks do, and a business-suit wearing dancer is 91% sure he's at the wrong party. The cider, of course, is 100% Irish.
