DDB New Zealand explore the plight of the kid in the Middle Seat for McDonald's.
In the new ad for New Zealand TV, directed by Tim Bullock for Scoundrel, a girl has to sit between two boisterous brothers while the classic song Stuck in the Middle with You plays. She has to endure the mud, smells, and fighting of the two boys on either side of her, without even a window to look out of to distract herself.
However, after a family trip to Maccy Ds, she gets the benefit of the middle seat; easy access to the fries and burgers in the bag her parents have just bought from the drive-through.
