Miami agency The Community are expanding into the UK market with a new London office.
The agency, which also offices in New York and in Buenos Aires, where it is known as La Comunidad, decided to open in London after a successful year financially and creatively. In 2016, the company amassed 100 awards across the world, and has tripled in size since opening in 2001, with 50% growth in 2016 alone thanks in part to a spate of new client wins in the form of General Mills and Verizon.
In London, the company will be headed by executive creative director Mark Hunter, and will be creating work for a small group of clients currently including Tesco Mobile and Britain’s Beer Alliance.
Speaking of the expansion, agency co-founder José Mollá stated that, ‘we always believed that our approach to culture was relevant on a global level…What better way to make that a reality than opening an office in London?’
