London-based post production studio Freefolk has opened a new office in New York. Heading up the New York office is executive producer Celia Williams, whose extensive industry experience includes stints as head of production at DDB New York and Arnold New York. Joining Williams is colourist Paul Harrison, who will be relocating from London. Global creative director/co-founder Jason Watts will split his time between the two offices, bringing team members with him across the Atlantic as needed. The New York studio will mirror its counterpart in London, offering high-end services spanning colour grading (using Baselight), 2D & 3D visual effects, shoot supervision and animation.
