New York and Los Angeles-based production and entertainment company m ss ng p eces has expanded its roster and bolstered the team, to improve its VR offering.
VR director Sam Smith has signed to the company and been hired as a technical advisor, arriving from MediaMonks where he was a creative director and working across projects for the likes of Expedia, Converse and YT. He has also worked on visual effects and has a deep understanding of the post production process.
Catherine Day has joined the LA office as head of VR/AR/360, where she will be responsible for leading upcoming original VR series, with WME and other partners. She arrives from Jaunt VR, where she was EP/head of unscripted and oversaw projects for ABC News, Huffington post and Outside TV.
Directors Ray Tintori, Yehuda Duenyas aka Mindride and Yung Jake have also recently joined the company’s VR/experiential roster.
