Tis’ the season to feel jolly... and mcgarrybowen has done a good job at boosting British morale post-Brexit with a series of fun Christmas crackers.

In a bid to lighten the mood after the UK’s election result, the crackers - which are half-painted in the European flag and the UK flag - contain fun and satirical prizes, such as a toy Brexit bus and a yo-yoing pound, as well as a EU jigsaw where you can quite literally piece together a map of the European Union.

And the jokes, encased in each cracker, aren’t bad either…

Q. Why did Michael Gove leave his Christmas dinner? A. He didn’t like Brussels.

“The world seems to have gone crazy in 2016,” says the agency’s ECD Paul Jordan. “So at mcgarrybowen we decided to see off this dreadful year by trying to lighten the mood a little."

Guardian readers and subscribers should click here to enter the competition and be in with a chance to own the crackers. Good luck!

Can’t say you’ll be the most popular person at the xmas dinner table but it will definitely be a Christmas to remember.
