While the migrant crisis continues to dominate headlines worldwide, the day-to-day effects of displacement, such as access to basic female sanitary items, are less well publicised.
To raise awareness of the issue, UN Women - a branch of the United Nations dedicated to advancing gender equality around the world - have teamed up with Reykjavik agency Dodlur Iceland on a campaign encouraging viewers to donate and enable the distribution of 'Dignity Kits' to thousands of female refugees.
Helmed by directing duo Samuel+Gunnar via Skot Productions, the 60-second spot intercuts sun-dappled, Sound of Music-esque scenes of carefree women with the dark reality of life in warzones and refugee camps.
