Women Skate with Hate Ahead of US Election
Hateboards unveil promo film via B-Reel Films to launch Despicable Donald Trump boards & inspire votes against him.
With just four more days until America’s political future will be decided (or another 24 days, according to Donald Trump), many are beginning to worry about what lies ahead for the nation and trying to rally support against Trump’s election.
Included in this mix is London-based skateboarding company, the Hateboards.
What makes the boards created by the Hateboards so unique, is that the board’s underside is plastered with hated celebrities.
The team has created a Despicable Donald Trump board to honour the upcoming election and convince skaters that they too should publicly join in the debate. B-Reel Films has helmed a short promo (below) to show off the new boards.
In the promotional spot helmed by The Rig Out, a group of female skateboarders - including Savannah Keenan; Sam Bruce; Georgie Winter; and Paula Viidu - take to London’s iconic Southbank Skate Park to overrule the presidential candidate’s sexist comments about women by aggressively skating on the boards and making sure they get as scratched up as possible. Given how outspoken he's been, it's hard to say it's not deserved.
