With almost 9 million people living in poverty in France, homeless charity Depaul France and Publicis Conseil have taken a novel approach to raising awareness of the issue with a parody of the popular '100 years of...' fashion videos, which typically condense a century's worth of different styles into a couple of minutes.

Directed by Noé through La Pac, the highly stylised film follows a male 'model' undergoing multiple outfit changes, assisted by a bevy of hair and make-up artists, while the camera lingers on the torn and frayed edges of his clothing - a simple but effective reminder that though fashions have changed over the years, the face of poverty, sadly, remains the same.
