A little over one month ago, director Alma Har’el launched a new initiative within the advertising industry called #FreeTheBid. 

#FreeTheBid's aim is to create greater democratisation across adland by encouraging agencies to take more of a chance on female directors, including them in the pitching process. Leading industry figures like Cindy Gallop and Spike Jonze, as well as agencies like Mother and FCB Global have already pledged their support to the platform

Crispin Porter + Bogusky has also signed up to the initiative and here, global executive producer at CP+B LA, Sarah Patterson, continues her Tea With Sarah series of video interviews by talking to Har'el about #FreeTheBid, among other things.
