A Day in The Life of Brad Hasse
LAIR director takes us behind the scenes of a recent shoot and it seems picture perfect and lots of fun.
Peacefully-panoramic pictures of the sun rising across the beach, posing with the (inflatable) green screen and birds... lots of birds. Nothing's out of bounds when LAIR director Brad Hasse is on-set.
06.27: Sunrise. The ocean makes me smile from ear to ear. For most of my trip in Los Angeles, I’ve been taking advantage of being next to the water and starting my days at sunrise by heading straight to the beach. Always kicks things off right.
07.00: Crew Call. Everyone is looking pumped for the shoot day.
07.01: Don’t think there was enough in the budget for a green screen, so some blow up mattresses were bought instead. Production is all about rolling with the punches.
08.00: First Shot. I’m a little unorthodox when it comes to my casting, so I’m super happy whenever the client lets me run with it.
10:30: My family texts me an endearing photo… now I feel loved.
13:00: Testing out this green screen shot during lunch. Think I might be doing something wrong.
16:30: You’re only as good as your last insert shot.
17:00: Wrap! The shoot was a success. Maybe even the most successiest of all my shoots.
19:30: Enjoying the pretty lights outside my window. Heading back to New York. Exhausted. Happy. Thankful.
