W+K Portland bring out another motivational 'Just Do It' message from Nike
This message to the sports stars of tomorrow, from W+K Portland and director Damien Chazelle, strikes a nice balance between the ridiculous and the rousing.
Employing the charms of those trusty stalwarts of advertising's casting cot, the baby, Unlimited Future sees a room full of junior versions of Nike athletes – including LeBron James and Mo Farah – receive an inspirational speech from US actor Bobby Boardwalk Empire Cannavale.
Their toughguy coach reminds them that though they've had no choice over where and into what situations they've been born, they do have control over their destinies – the film wraps with a chubby little fist punching above the bars of a cot and the tagline ‘Begin your story here’. Bless.
