International production company Smuggler has signed Danish director, Susanne Bier, to its roster of talent. Bier is well known as the woman behind acclaimed mini-series The Night Manager which aired on the BBC and AMC, starring Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie. Other notable works by the Academy Award- winning director include In A Better World; Things We Lost in the Fire; After the Wedding; Brothers; and Serena.
