It may seem like forever ago that you were strutting down the Croisette, but my my doesn't time fly when you're caught in the realms of reality?

Cannes was only a week ago - technically, less than a whole seven days have passed since the curtains closed at the festival's closing gala - yet many of us are still recovering and reliving our memories from the sun-drenched, party-filled and inspirational week of creativity.

shots caught up with BBH's worldwide chief creative officer Pelle Sjoenell to find out what he got up to on a typical day while in the South of France.

08.30: Kick off the day with a quick spin with Giovanni Perosino, global head of marketing communication for Audi. Safe to say, his ride isn’t too shabby.

10.00: It’s then on to meet a dear friend, Google’s brilliant Ben Malbon, for the YouTube and Empathy gathering - discussing how we can use our creativity to broaden our impact in the world; something we salute and that is very close to home for BBH.

11.00: Inside the Palais for the tech rehearsal ahead of my panel session on Thursday for the Entertainment Lions. I’ll be joined by Scott Manson from SB Projects, Hollywood director Jon M. Chu and Audi’s Giovanni Perosino.

11.30: Spotted - this is where all the douches shower...

13.00: We’re on a boat! En route to the YouTube island with ex BBH’er and game changer Brad Haugen and the incredible Hope Taitz, catching up on all the exciting things they’ve got going on at ATTN.

13.30: Now on dry land and in discussion with Sir John Hegarty, talking about our different perspectives on the pros and cons of where our industry is heading. There’s a lot we agree on, but we also have a few heated debates too... Feeling very lucky to be in such an awesome setting with some of the brightest creative brains in our industry - thanks YouTube and Google for having us!

14.00: The master at work. Sir John Hegarty selecting the wine for dinner.

14.30: Leveraging the meeting of creative minds. Working with Brad and ATTN:, we hosted a roundtable session with the intention of finding ways to raise awareness of mental health issues. A two hour session which generated many ideas that BBH, ATTN: and our friends Google, GE, AOL, Abbott, AAAA will be moving forward with over the coming months. Oh, and Carly Rae Jepsen popped by to help out. Pinch me, maybe?

20.00: On to a fantastic dinner where I met Le Freak! Freakin’ Nile Rodgers. Lovely guy and proper legend. Time to end on a high, and sleep.
