There are two things that an English summer is guaranteed to deliver – rain and tennis.
In this gently amusing new spot from BBH Sport, a division of BBH London for the Lawn Tennis Association, rain doesn't stop play, but a wannabe Andy Murray looks set for a disappointing defeat in an amateur match at his local park's court.
Accompanied by iconic commentary by the legendary John Barret, along with the sounds of a Grand Slam Final, the TVC, directed by Mark Albiston out of The Sweet Shop, sees our hapless tennis hero finally summon enough self-belief to "sieze the moment" and vanquish his plucky female opponent.
It's the first brand campaign by the LTA and – ending with the tagline 'every game is a classic' – was launched to encourage more Brits to try out tennis.
