MPC bolsters New York team

Visual effects studio MPC New York has hired Alan Bibby and Dan Sormani (R).

Bibby joins as director/creative director, while Sormani joins as executive producer. The two have worked together before at Logan, where Bibby was previously at. Sormani joins from Goodby Silverstein & Partners where he was head of production.

Bibby has dabbled in ads, music videos and fashion films, becoming known for his experiential approach to using VFX.

Sormani, on the other hand, has gained experience working across VFX and live action. He has scooped up various accolades while working at Logan, Brand New School and Stardust.
