Leo Burnett USA has named Marcello Magalhaes as its new chief strategy officer. He was previously partner/VP of strategic planning at Leo Burnett Tailor Made in Sao Paulo, but now he will partner with Leo Burnett’s CEO Rich Stoddart to improve the strategic direction of the U.S. agency and lead its strategy department. Magalhaes will also become the global strategy lead on McDonald's, where he will work across the agency's portfolio of clients. He will start in his new role in March.
